keyword in url

Having keyword in url is great and very useful. It is always to select a targetted url, where the search is in the range of 2000 per month and select that url. see that keyword is in the beginining of the site url. For example goldring is a keyword. Try to have a url like goldring.blogpost.com or goldring.bravehost.com. It is called main directory and importance is given to this main directory than subdirectory keyword. suppose if you host the web page in geocities, they give http://geocities.com/goldring.html , where the keyword has come in the second stage, which is called sub directory. You will get the main directory url with wordpress easily.
Now the point is, some people expressed in their ezine articles that if you have a keyword in the url, the adsense engine depends just on the keyword and places ads in the page. It is not right. it is incorrect. The adsense engine sometimes takes lot of time to place ad in a page, though keywords are scattered in the page. Only public ads will be placed till the adsense wants to place. But the links from the public ad page will have relevant ads again.
If any links are there in the page like my links, they also influence the adsense ads.

The two methods of increasing adsense revenue is by increasing the traffic and improving the CTR or click through rate. The more content you place , relevant to the popular keyword, the more would be the traffic. When the ads are prominent , attracting the eye of the visitor and also interesting ad is placed at that time, CTR would be high. Some web masters restrict low revenue ads from placing in their site, and thus they increase the revenue from minimum clicks.
