KEI drawback, failures

People talk lot about KEi (Key word Evaluation Index) and circulate articles without any practicla data about its efficiency. In my opinion, it is not a worthy peiece of information for boosting your adsense revenue. It is a time waste, frustrating exercise.
The reasons for the above statement are given below.
1.This KEI exercise is time bound and its value changes day to day. Because the calculation is based on the number of searches and number of pages offered for that search. These vary greatly from one search engine to another.

2. It considers only number of results for that keyword. Normally people will not go to third page even in search results. So, even if you have 100000 pages behind you or 1000 pages behind you, it will not make any difference. You can get adsense click if at all you are in the first page. Second page onwards you get sporadic clicks which will not contribute to your urge for adsense revenue.
3.KEI indicates only the past as it depends on past data, searches done in last month. For example, valentine day oriented keyword searche would be high last month and results available would be low in this month. Then KEI changes favourably. But even if you keep in first page of search results, you may not get a single click as valentine's day is over.
Instead of this KEI, if you concentrate on Keyword strengthening technique, it would help a lot.
Keyword Strengthening Technique. Observe what keywords are offering your page to visitors through search engine. Check if your page is the first page for that keyword. If your page is 4th in results, take all actions to make it ready to be first in next searches. Thus you will continuously work on favourable lands and increase traffic definitely where search engine already noticed you as a potential page owner to offer information to it.
